A generally favourable avalanche situation will prevail. Moist snow slides during the day are unlikely to occcur.
Until the temperature falls more small moist and wet avalanches are possible. This applies in very steep, sunny starting zones in all altitude zones that have retained the snow thus far.
The small quantity of fresh snow and the small wind slabs that are forming during the snowfall can still be released in some cases on very steep shady slopes above approximately 2300 m.
Snowpack
>
The snowpack is largely stable.
Sunny slopes: The surface of the snowpack will freeze very little. Sunshine and high temperatures will give rise as the day progresses to rapid moistening of the snowpack on steep sunny slopes in all altitude zones. Very steep shady slopes: The small wind slabs of Sunday remain in some cases prone to triggering above approximately 2300 m.
In all regions at intermediate and high altitudes less snow than usual is lying. At low altitude from a snow sport perspective, insufficient snow is lying.
Tendency
The danger of dry and moist avalanches will decrease gradually.
