Avalanche Problem
New snow

2000m

Gliding snow

New snow above approximately 2000 m.
As a consequence of the new snow dry avalanches are possible from midday, but they will be mostly small. The avalanche prone locations are to be found especially adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls above approximately 2200 m. Dry avalanches can be released by people or triggered naturally.

Individual gliding avalanches can also occur. In very isolated cases they are large.
Backcountry touring calls for defensive route selection.
Snowpack
>
Over a wide area 5 to 10 cm of snow will fall until the evening above approximately 2000 m. The northerly wind will transport the new snow.

The meteorological conditions will facilitate a substantial strengthening of the old snowpack in all aspects.
Tendency
Gradual increase in danger of dry avalanches as a consequence of new snow and wind.
