Wind slabs require caution.
The various wind slabs must be evaluated with care and prudence and generally at high altitude. The somewhat older wind slabs can still be released in some cases in particular on very steep shady slopes. As a consequence of a sometimes moderate southerly wind, easily released wind slabs will form in the course of the day in particular adjacent to ridgelines on north and east facing slopes. The dry avalanches are rather small.
Snowpack

The somewhat older wind slabs are poorly bonded with the old snowpack especially on wind-protected shady slopes. Field observations show a sometimes unfavourable avalanche situation on steep, little used shady slopes. On Saturday it will be cloudy. The southerly wind will transport the loosely bonded old snow. Off-piste activities call for meticulous route selection.
Tendency
Sunday: Gradual increase in danger of dry avalanches as a consequence of new snow and wind.
