Gliding snow represents the main danger.
On very steep grassy slopes individual small and, in isolated cases, medium-sized gliding avalanches and moist snow slides are possible as the moisture increases. This applies on sunny slopes in all altitude zones, as well as on shady slopes below approximately 2000 m.
