Snowpack

Outgoing longwave radiation during the night was barely evident. Above approximately 1600 m snow will fall from midday. In some localities up to 5 cm of snow, but less in some localities, will fall.
The more recent wind slabs are bonding poorly with the old snowpack in particular on wind-protected shady slopes above approximately 2200 m.
In all regions there are 40 to 60 cm of snow, and even more in some localities. At high altitudes and in high Alpine regions snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind.
