Avalanche Problem
Wind slab
2000m
Fresh wind slabs in particular on near-ridge shady slopes.
The small quantity of fresh snow and in particular the wind slabs can be released by a single winter sport participant in isolated cases in particular on very steep shady slopes above approximately 2000 m. The avalanches in these loacations are only small. Restraint should be exercised because avalanches can sweep people along and give rise to falls.
Snowpack
>
The small quantity of fresh snow and in particular the wind slabs will be deposited on the favourable surface of an old snowpack on shady slopes below approximately 2000 m. On shady slopes above approximately 2000 m there are 10 to 50 cm of snow, and even more in some localities. On steep sunny slopes from a snow sport perspective, in most cases insufficient snow is lying.
Tendency
Saturday: The danger of dry and moist avalanches will increase significantly during the day.
